The essentials of sport performance development is the foundation every athlete needs. Biomechanically balanced conditioning with sport specific speed agility quickness and explosive power development. Programing designed to safely and effectively give you the advantage you’re looking for.

Programing for today’s athlete must address factors such as appropriate forms of flexibility, increased stabilisation, strength and endurance and training in a multiplanar environment. All of these forms of training have been specifically designed to follow physiological principles of the human movement system to provide a systematic progression to training that minimizes injury and maximises the athlete’s results.

strategically designed strength and conditioning programs to develop athletes of all ages safely and effectively.

Fundamental conditioning and injury prevention

Physical conditioning for today’s athlete besides preparing them for high-level competition, also reduces the likelihood of injury. Improper conditioning is one of the major causes of sports injuries. Muscle imbalance, improper timing caused by faulty neuromuscular coordination, inadequate ligamentous or tendinous strength, inadequate muscle or cardiovascular endurance, inadequate muscle bulk, problems with flexibility and problems relating to body composition are some of the primary causes of sports injuries directly attributable to improper and inadequate physical conditioning and proper training.

Conditioning for high-performance

Sports conditioning is a year round endeavor. Not since the 1950’s have high-level athletes ‘played themselves’ into shape.

I appreciate that Paul understands my limitations and always helps me understand what my body is going through.

Paul was great to work with, he knows what he is doing and is very professional.

Our programs are based on the same programs used for professional athletes and have been scientifically proven to enhance performance and prevent injuries.

Each program includes:

Programs based on the unique needs of your specific sport.

Total body strength training that integrates the upper body, lower body, and core into a program that focuses on enhancing functional movements like squatting, hinging, lunging, pushing, and pulling.

Development of vertical, linear, lateral, and rotational explosiveness through the use of plyometrics, jump training, medicine balls, kettlebells, and olympic lifting.

Training to develop linear speed, lateral speed, change of direction, landing technique, acceleration, and deceleration through speed technique drills and running mechanics instruction.

Integration of core stability, strength, and power to maximize movement efficiency and power transfer.

Development of proper total body mobility through self-myofascial release, foam rolling, stretching, and dynamic movement prep.

Sport-specific conditioning to enhance quick sprints, long runs, and total game endurance.

Focus on correcting specific imbalances, enhancing mobility issues, jumping and landing training.
